What you can try

• Open the first-run walkthrough and execute Python cells with the bundled local engine.
• Open, edit, save and reopen a notebook. Inspect live Python variables.
• Import tables, explore available local analysis tools, and inspect selections and their row identities.
• Export selected-cell metadata and work with datasets directly in notebook code.

What is still limited

This beta targets Windows 64-bit. A Mac installer is not available yet. Subscription AI, paid activation and remote compute are not connected. Some controls remain marked Pro, including figure export, saved clusters and subset-export dialogs. Notebook code and the available metadata export can still be used to inspect and save data.

Pretrained CellTypist weights are not bundled with this beta. Optional models, reference lookups and add-on packages can require a separate download and internet connection. The software is for research testing; it is not validated for clinical or diagnostic use.

Install and update

Check the homepage for the exact version, file size, signing status and SHA-256 checksum. An unsigned test installer can produce a Windows reputation warning. If your organization requires signed software, wait for the signed release.

The beta installs separately from the stable app and uses its own settings profile. Keep backups of any notebooks you edit. Beta updates are downloaded manually from the same tester page; automatic updates are disabled.

A useful first test

1. Complete the built-in walkthrough and run its Python cells.
2. Open a small table or notebook, inspect the values, and save a copy.
3. Close and reopen the app and your saved notebook.
4. For a dataset with a UMAP, select cells, inspect their IDs, and export their metadata. Check that the exported rows match the selection.

Your files stay under your control.

Notebooks and core analysis run on your computer. This website has no research-upload form, analytics script or advertising tracker. It stores your website skin preference in your browser. Cloudflare serves the website and download infrastructure and processes ordinary network-request information.

Internet-dependent tools may contact the reference or package service you request. AI connections are not included in this beta. Do not use identifiable patient data for early testing. Diagnostic exports and screenshots may contain analysis details; review them before sharing.

Reply to the person who sent you the beta link. Include your app version, Windows version, the steps you took, what you expected and what happened. If useful, export diagnostics from Settings and attach a reviewed copy. Share synthetic examples instead of private research data.

A dedicated support address has not been announced. This beta does not promise a support response time.
